Snow Days are for Reading!  We will close for winter weather with the Mineral County Schools.  We will announce all weather related closure on our Facebook Page, so Like Fort Ashby Public Library on Facebook to keep up to date with all our programming and weather related closings.

 

Welcome to the Public Library in Fort Ashby, WV

 

We are a branch of the Mineral County Library Association, which includes our main library Keyser-Mineral County Public Library in Keyser, WV and the branch, Burlington Public Library in Burlington, WV. We offer the community many wonderful programs, such as, Children's Story Hour, Ft. Ashby Readers, and the Summer Reading Program. Some of the services we offer are Inter-Library Loans, Fax & Copy Services, Notary and Wi-Fi Services. Be sure to check out our calendar for times and dates of any events and programs we have going on. Our goal is to provide the Fort Ashby community with the best possible services and programs. What's Happening At The Library

 

 

 

February 1-6 --  ALL DAY -- Book Sale.

 

February 3 --  4:30 pm -- Junior Book Club: Grades 5 through 12.  The group will be discussing The Book Thief by Markus Zusak.

 

February 5 --  10 am -- Friends of the Library meeting.

 

February 6 --  11 -11:30 am -- Toddler Story Time: Ages birth to 4 years old.

 

February 11 --  4 pm -- STEAM Club: Ages 5 & up!  We will be building solar powered robots!

 

February 12 --  11 am -- Homeschool Group Meeting: We will be watching a Don Knott's movie.  Popcorn and drinks will be served.

 

February 13 --  11 -11:30 am -- Toddler Story Time: Ages birth to 4 years old.

 

February 17 --  ALL DAY -- We will be closed in observance of Presidents Day.

 

February 18 --  4 pm -- Lego Club: Ages 5 & up!

 

February 19 --  11 am -- Hands on CPR Class given by Potomac Valley Hospital.

 

February 20 --  11 -11:30 am -- Toddler Story Time: Ages birth to 4 years old.

 

February 24 --  10 am -- Fort Ashby Readers:  The Group will be discussing The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah.

 

February 26 --  11 am -- Homeschool Group Meeting: We will be learning about wind power and doing a wind experiment.

 

February 27 --  11 -11:30 am -- Toddler Story Time: Ages birth to 4 years old.

 

March 2 --  4:30 pm -- Junior Book Club: Grades 5 through 12.  The group will be discussing Children of Blood and Bone by Toni Adeyemi.
